Taking an Exam

1.     How do I access the examination site?

 

Exams can be accessed through iLearn >> Quick Links >> Book/Take Exams.

 

2.     From where can I cross check the answers of my examination?

 

As a policy the answers are not disclosed. However, the scorecard sent to you details your performance at a topic-subtopic level so that you can focus on specific areas of improvement accordingly. The question banks and answers are reviewed by SMEs periodically for correctness and completeness. However, if you have an observation about any specific questions or the options shown in multiple choice, you can contact the SMEs by raising a helpdesk call.

 

3.     Within how much duration will I get the scorecard of the exam?

 

You will get the scorecard on the next working day after giving the exam. The scorecard will be mailed to you.

 

4.     How can I check my scorecard?

 

You would have already received an email scorecard. However, if you wish to check your score details in the system, take the link for Quick Links >> Book/Take Exam. Click internet/intranet option links. The next page will show option ‘View Scores’.

 

5.     The exam page is not opening.

 

Disable the Google toolbar and the Internet Pop-up Blocker.

 

6.     Do you provide certification for exam?

 

Certificates can be printed for certain exams. Click on the transcript link of the homepage. You will be directed to the learning history. From this page certificate can be printed.

      

7.     I want to cancel a pending exam.

 

Go to Exams home page from Quick Links >> Book/Take Exams.  If any exam is booked, the page shows a link to cancel the exam. If you have already started the exam, you cannot cancel the same.

 

8.     What credit I will get on completing a particular exam?

 

This detail is shown in the exam catalog. Click on Quick links >> Learning platform. You will be directed to a page where you can search for the exam and view the details.

 

9.     Does my manager get informed about my exams?

 

Yes. A Mail of your booking details and Scores is sent to your manager as well.

10.  Can I change my manager details?

 

Yes. To change your manager details:

a.     When you click ‘Book’ to book the test, a message box appears. The manager name is displayed.

b.    If you want to change it click on ‘Yes’.

c.     Fill the Manager name and Manager Mail.

 

11.  Is this exam linked to my Appraisal?

 

No. This Exam is used to test the competency of the Employees.

 

12.  The training that I have attended is not updated in iLearn>> My learning.

 

Please raise a helpdesk call to get the training updated.

 

13.  How do I come to know of my exam results?

 

Your results are mailed to you and your manager next day of the exam.

 

14.  What is the passing level?

 

Generally the passing level is 60% for most of the exams but you should look up the exam you want from the iLearn to see specific passing %.

 

15.  Where can I view my Scores?

 

Click on the transcript link of the homepage. You will be directed to the learning history. From this page you can view the exam scores.

 

16.  My Scores are not reflected in iLearn.

 

Scores are reflected in iLearn only after 2 days from the day of exam submission. If after a week also the scores are not updated, please raise a helpdesk call.

      

17.  Where Is the Exam Booking Page located?

 

The Exam link is present on the iLearn site. 

 

18.  The Exam Booking Page cannot be displayed.

 

Do the following:

1.     Go to Internet Explorer >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Connections >> LAN Settings >> Advanced >> Exceptions.

2.     Type ;202.*

3.     Click ‘OK’.

Try accessing the page once again now.

 

19.  Error Message: “Error while login. Please try again.”

 

Either the Empno entered is invalid or an exception has occurred in the page.

 

20.  Error Message: “Invalid Lan ID or Password! Please try again”.

 

The Login and Password entered are incorrect. Retype the user details and try again.

            

21.  Error: Server too Busy.

 

This is due to excessive load on the server caused by more than 500 simultaneous users. Try after some time or between off-peak hours like before 9 AM and after 8 PM.
