Exam booking system features:

The exam booking system shares the common user profile with the QUEST exam booking system. Login with your LanID and Password.
The system asks you to select an exam vendor (e.g. Microsoft, Sun, Cisco etc) from a dropdown list. Then you will be required to select the exam name from the dropdown list. The lists contain the commonly used exams but the offerings from exam vendors are huge and may change from time. It may so happen that the desired vendor name or exam name are not in the drop down list. In such cases, employees are advised to contact the location Learning Team TCA and get the exam details added in the booking system.
The standard time slot allocated to the exam in this system is 3 hours. If the stipulated time for any particular exam is more than 3 hours, the Learning Officer should be contacted to make special arrangements for extended timeslots.
An email conformation will be sent to the employee about the booking details.

Exam booking guidelines rules:

The employees should book the exam AT LEAST 7 working days in advance of the exam date. Certain arrangements need to be done in the backend for exam readiness and hence employees should refrain from requesting last minute bookings. The system prevents employees to book exams at very short notice so it does not allow exams to be booked within two working days of the exam date. This allows Learning Team sufficient notice and time for background preparatory work required for that exam.
Cancellation is discouraged so as to avoid unnecessary blocking of infrastructure and some exam vendors do not allow exam cancellations once the procedure is started. As a generic rule, if the employee has to cancel, it should be before seven clear working days prior to the exam date. The exam system does not allow cancellation within last seven working days. In case of emergency cancellations, the employee should contact the TCA . However, if the TCA has already initiated the exam procedure, the exam can not be cancelled and the amount is deemed to be lost.
Though it is not mandatory to possess a voucher before booking an exam slot, it is strongly advised that you purchase the voucher before booking the exam. Exam room infrastructure is at premium and unnecessary blocking of exams without the real intent of giving one is an overhead that will invite escalations.
